The Use of Colour To Make a Statement/ The Good, The Bad & The Bugly/ How to Get Your Garden Into a Magazine Ontario
Gardener Living Magazine’s Editor showed us great gardening
tips from the use of colour to what to do with those pesky bugs. All colours are beautiful and they all go together in some way. Shauna helped us decide how to put colours together in our garden for the total look that we wanted.
You can’t have a garden without bugs! Good bugs, bad bugs and
bugs your garden can live without – all are fascinating
when you delve into their private lives. Shauna talked about gardeners she’s met, gardens she’s visited and how to use photography to sell your garden to a magazine.

Gardening for Problem Sites/ Plants for Tight Spots-
Many homeowners,
irrespective of garden size, often find themselves dealing with
sites that are either too wet, too dry, too shady, too steep, etc.
This informative presentation provided suggestions as to the
many useful and show plants that can thrive in such conditions. -
Homeowners in urban areas
may be faced with the narrow, shallow backyards. Such sites, while
challenging, can benefit by creative design techniques with plants
and garden structures to make these sites interesting and appealing.
This presentation shared many of these creative ideas.
