Celebrity experts included: HGTV’s Real Reno ’s Jim Caruk, Renovation Expert John Sillaots,  CFRB’s Home Improvement Specialist Frank Cohn,  Toronto Star’s Vicky Sanderson and many more were very happy to share  their do-it-yourself secrets with audience members. Seminars ran throughout the 4 days of the show.

Getting Creative in the Creative Arts Marketplace

We were excited about the new launch of the Creative Arts Marketplace, which spotlighted artisans and craft suppliers.  Crowds were lining up to take advantage of the interactive make-it and take-it projects and demonstrations.

Exhibitors displaying Pools, Spas, Hot Tubs, Fencing, Decking, Outdoor Furniture, Patios and other Backyard Living products and services took advantage of the 35,000 sq. ft. we dedicated to Backyard Entertaining. This prime selling area is located in Hall 3 where the greatest convergence of crossover traffic from both the International Home & Garden Show (halls 1, 2 & 3) and the Successful Gardening Show (beside hall 3 in halls 3A & 4) meet.


A Builders’ Paradise

 

The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation notes that people renovate within 3 years of buying a house, and with the resale market still high, renovations are hot, hot, hot!  Renovation World, located in Hall 2, was dedicated to builders, renovators and home improvement companies. 

 

Dream Builder’s Walk (in Hall 3) highlights Canada ’s Best Home Builders.


The GREEN GARAGE

From start to finish this garage was built to utilize eco-friendly products.  The GREEN GARAGE was proof that green space can be fun as well as functional.

The Décor Design Gallery

Walls, Windows Furnishings Association had designed a stunning showcase of Model Room Vignettes created by the industries finest decorators and interior designers.  Consumers wishing to update their homes meet with knowledgeable exhibitors displaying interior design products, home accents, window and wall furnishings and more.  The ever-popular “Ask A Designer” FREE design consultations attracted hundreds of visitor looking for Home Inspirations.
